WEEKLY COMPETITION

Hornbsy Zone Schools may enter teams for Cricket in the Weekly Summer Competition (Terms 1 and 4) played on Friday mornings at various locations  provided by Hornsby Council and Kurring-gai Council.

Junior Teams consist of boys from Year 3 and 4. Senior Teams consist of boys from Year 5 and 6. Schools may enter girls who play at a competitive level. Games are structured around 12 players with 24 overs in a match.

TRIALS

HZSS holds a trial for this sport during Term 4 for the following year or early Term 1. Trials are held for boys and girls – with selected students progressing through to the Sydney North trials.

Students attending these trials are nominated and submitted through individual schools. Students will not be able to trial without permission notes correctly signed by parents, principals and sports coordinators.
